Grain Marketing Discussion Groups
Are you watching grain prices? Are you wondering about the value of your coming harvest? Do you consider what could happen next?
This is an excellent time to evaluate where you are with price risk management, and where you might want to be as the U.S. begins another fall harvest season. Soon, we will get busy with gathering the fruits of our endless efforts. Now is the time to take a step back, look at markets, explore alternatives, and review your marketing strategy. Below is a list of Penn State Extension 2017 pre-harvest Grain Marketing Discussion Group opportunities.
We will bring price trends, pricing tools, and effective marketing concepts together. We will actually decide what we could be doing about our financial position.

On-Farm Network Field Days
Farmers interested in soybean production are invited to attend a field day where soybean research is being conducted in real-world conditions on test plots planted by farmers on their own farms with their own equipment. The sites participate in the On-Farm Network, sponsored by a Pa. Soybean Board checkoff-funded research grant. The host farmers will discuss soybean management on their farms and Penn State Extension crop specialists will be on hand to discuss the research and answer questions.
