PA Soybean Workshops
The Soybean Production Workshop is a day-long event that teaches soybean producers new integrated pest and cultural management practices covering the entire growing season, from planting to harvest. Support for the workshops is provided in part by the Pennsylvania Soybean Board through the soybean checkoff.
Each workshop will feature Penn State researchers, experienced soybean growers, and county Extension personnel presenting information covering all aspects of soybean production from planting to harvest. Topics include information on optimizing variety selection and planting rates, fertility management, weed, insect and disease scouting and harvest management. CCA and pesticide credits are available at each location.

2018 Winter Corn & Soybean Congress

The 2018 Winter Corn and Soybean Congress is sponsored by the PA Soybean Board and PA Corn Growers Association. All corn and soybean growers were invited to attend.
Herbicide-resistant weeds and their management will be the topic presented by Dr. Bryan Young as the keynote speaker for the 2018 Winter Corn and Soybean Congress. Dr. Young, Professor of Botany and Plant Pathology at Purdue University, will share integrated weed management strategies for problematic or herbicide-resistant weeds in corn and soybean.
Dr. Young will be joined by industry experts and Penn State educators in reviewing the current research being done on behalf of corn and soybean farmers, and will discuss current trends that will impact their operations. In addition, exhibitors will showcase their latest advancements in an ag trade show that runs throughout the day.
